William Franklin Delz, 88, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. He was born to Elsie (Moeller) and William Delz on July 6, 1929, in Willow City, Texas.
Bill served in the Korean conflict with the U.S. Navy. He later worked for Texaco, Dow Chemical, and the city of Kerrville and was a computer programmer. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and raising Angora goats, some of which were champions.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Newman of Houston; son, Gary Delz and wife Sherrie of Georgetown; sister, Darlene Ormand of Fredericksburg; brother, David Delz and wife Cleo of Austin; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
