Experience: I have been in law enforcement for over 18 years. I have both criminal and civil law enforcement experience. I have a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Master Peace Officer Certification and a TCOLE Civil Process Proficiency Certification as well as many others in police work.

What do you wish to accomplish?
When elected as your constable, I want to bring Critical Incident Stress Management to Burnet County. I am going to a Basic Chaplain School so that I can be a part of the Heart of Texas Chaplain Corps. This is part of the International Fellowship of Chaplains.The International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC) Inc. will provide practical community support and spiritual counsel to emergency service workers, those in crisis, secular society and those persons in transition by meeting their needs. Trained and licensed chaplains will provide counsel, education, advocacy, life improvement skills and recovery training, providing a bridge between the secular and spiritual environments of community life throughout the world.
Why are you the most qualified candidate?
I am the most qualified candidate because I have proven leadership ability in law enforcement. I am a current chief of police and know what it takes to run an office. I have the training and experience in both civil and criminal law enforcement that this office needs.

Experience: I graduated from CAPCOG Police Academy as president of the class with honors. I am currently a TECOLE-certified peace officer working as the deputy constable for Precinct 1.

What do you wish to accomplish?
As constable, it will be my duty to serve civil process and bailiff for the Justice of the Peace Court proceedings. However, it will be my mission to protect our three major assets: our families, our homes and our businesses.
Why are you the most qualified?
I have worked hand in hand with the current constable for the past two years. This has given me the opportunity to gain both knowledge and skills associated with this position.
