Floyd Dwayne Goad, 76, of Buchanan Dam died Oct. 30, 2015
Floyd Dwayne Goad, 76, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, passed away Oct. 30, 2015. He was born to Lester and Terra Mae (Campbell) Goad on Sept. 2, 1939.
Mr. Goad was a plumber by trade and also worked as a building maintenance superintendent. He was a member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters. After retiring to the Lake Buchanan area, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle best of all.
Floyd is survived by his sons Randy Goad and wife Noemi of Brady and Paul Goad of Austin; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and brothers Kenneth Goad and wife Sandra of Marble Falls and Lester Goad Jr. of Lubbock. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Kelvin Goad; and brothers Morris and Harold.
A memorial service is 3 p.m. Nov. 6 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, with the Rev. Rick Stone officiating.
