BURNET — A change in how Burnet High School season football tickets are designed means more of a pro look and a savings in printing costs.

Having a private company print the tickets saved the athletic department about $2,500, athletic secretary Sandra Garrett said.

“It should definitely help cut some corners,” she said.

Reserved seats with backs are $40, while seats without backs are $35 for five home games: Marble Falls, Taylor, China Spring, Waco Robinson and Waco La Vega. The games will be played in the newly renovated Bulldog Field with artificial turf and an eight-lane track. Click HERE for an update on the stadium construction.

“The anticipation is building,” Garrett said. “You can feel it.”

Bulldog fans who want to keep their same seats can mail their payments to the athletic department before Aug. 4. Tickets may be picked up starting Aug. 10 at the field house, 1000 The Green Mile.

Those wanting to make changes can stop by the field house noon-6 p.m. Aug. 5-6 and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 7.

The general public can begin buying tickets 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. Aug. 10. Contact Garrett at sgarrett@burnet.txed.net for more information.

A new synthetic turf at Llano High School has fans also looking forward to the season, front desk worker Janie Rabb said.

“They’re excited about it,” she said.

Season tickets cost $35 per seat for the five home games against Bangs, Fredericksburg, Salado, Wimberley and Hondo. Tickets may be purchased at the high school, 2509 Texas 16 South in Llano.

Call Rabb at (325) 248-2300 for more information.

Jessica Romrell of Marble Falls Independent School District said she has received plenty of calls from ticket holders who want to keep their same seats. Still, she encourages fans who want to buy season tickets for the first time to call her so she can add them to the waiting list.

The cost per seat is $45 — $10 for each senior citizen seat — for home games against San Antonio Jay, Cedar Park Vista Ridge, Georgetown, Cedar Park High and Leander Vandegrift.

Call Romrell at (830) 693-4357 for more information.

Faith Academy does not sell season tickets.
