Willie Louise Kirkpatrick Walker of Llano, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2015. Louise was born Jan. 10, 1918, in Lovelace, Texas, to Jewell Grant and Katy Nancy (Burk) Kirkpatrick.

Louise graduated from Penelope High School in Penelope, Texas, and then attended Hill County Junior College in Hillsboro. She left college and eloped with the love of her life, Richard Walker, on Sept. 24, 1936. They were married 66 years. They spent most of their married life working together in businesses in Seminole and Fort Stockton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; twin infant sons; sisters Gloria Fields and Catherine Bean; and brother Kenneth Kirkpatrick.

Louise is survived by three loving sons, Harry Lee Walker and wife Naomi of Turner, Oregon, Jimmy Richard Walker and wife Darlena of Hutto and Paul Chris Walker and wife Theresa of White Oak; daughter, Phyllis McWhorter and husband Jess of Llano; sisters Mary Franklin of Riesel, Lois Allen of Lewisville and Precious Sheets of Seminole; 12 grandchildren, Bart, Matt, Holly, Kirk, Grant, Todd, Chad, Tiffany, Katy, Tate, Christopher and Amy; great-grandchildren, Grace, Silas, Mallory, Kathryn, Ethan, Alex, Olivia, Valerie, Grace Ann, Ayden, Avery, Kelbey and Kolden; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. April 24 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 2 p.m. April 25 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery.
