Gaye Lynette Royko, 62, passed away March 1, 2015.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. March 5 at Hill Country Fellowship Church in Burnet with interment to follow at Post Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. March 4 at Edgar & Jenkins Family Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444.
Gaye was born in Port Lavaca, Texas, to Milton and Dorothy Williams. She later married Bernie Royko and was a longtime resident of Burnet. Along with being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she also worked with Bernie at Royko Oil Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Bernie Royko, and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Erica Royko; grandchildren, Sereynah Rivera, Eric Royko and Breydahn Royko, all of Burnet; as well as her brother, Richard Williams and wife Linda.
