OBITUARY: Pat Thomas Adcox, 82, of Marble Falls dies July 4, 2014
Pat Thomas Adcox, 82, passed away July 4, 2014. He was born in Simpson County, Mississippi, on May 23, 1932, the son of Tommy and Mary Bishop Adcox.
Pat retired from the oilfield business after 50-plus years. He was married to Peggy for 58½ years and five days. They were both members of First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls. He enjoyed being with his family and collecting Aladdin kerosene lamps.
Pat is survived by his wife, Peggy Adcox of Marble Falls; son Michael Adcox and wife Tracie Joyner of Kingsland; sister, Charlotte Hudson of Mississippi; granddaughter, Michaela Adcox of Kingsland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Duane and Charlotte Seay of Snyder; sister-in-law Betty Adox of Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. July 9 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A funeral service is 2 p.m. July 10 at First United Methodist Church of Marble Falls with Ellen Ely officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park.
