MARBLE FALLS — The Uptown Theatre will donate 10 percent of proceeds from a grand opening and a concert to the Marble Falls High School 2014 Project Graduation, organizers say.
Project Graduation raises money through parents and the community to host an overnight stay at an entertainment venue to keep youth safe on graduation night.
Uptown’s grand-opening event is 6-7 p.m. April 4 at the theater, 218 Main St., with a Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony and unveiling of the venue’s signature appetizers and adult beverages.
The second event, featuring musician Marcia Ball, is 6 p.m. April 5 at the theater.
After closing for several months from 2013-2014, the Uptown has re-opened under new management.
