OBITUARY: Lorene Sharp Sullivan, 91, formerly of Burnet, dies Jan. 29, 2014
A service for Lorene Sharp Sullivan, 91, of Buffalo, and formerly of Burnet, is 2 p.m. Feb. 1 at Edgar Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St. in Burnet, (512) 756-4444, with Darrell Debo officiating. Burial will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
Lorene was born Aug. 4, 1922, in Jacksboro, Texas, to James and Fannie Bankston Sharp and passed from this life Jan. 29, 2014, in Buffalo.
She married the love of her life, Emmett, on May 6, 1944, in Brownsville, Texas, and they shared the last 69 years together. He survives her.
She also is survived by her son, Gary Sullivan and wife Karen of Mexia; daughter, Linda Kay Bush and husband Jim of Fort Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, Jennifer Rennison and husband Ronald of Mexia, Jeremy Sullivan and wife Tonya of Buffalo and Ian Bush and Kathy Bush, both of Fort Collins; and great-grandchildren, Tiffany Rennison of Mexia and Rachael Sullivan of Buffalo.
