OBITUARY: Peter J. Zarzano, 82, of Horseshoe Bay dies Jan. 5, 2014

Peter J. Zarzano passed away Jan. 5, 2014, with daughters Gina Zarzano of Horseshoe Bay and Sandy Arnett of Granbury at his side. He is survived by grandson Ryan Arnett, 6.

Born in 1931, Pete was a transplanted Texan (1996), originally hailing from the Hilltop area of Columbus, Ohio.

He also is survived by children Teresa Zarzano and Peter Zarzano, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother and a sister, all residing in Ohio.

Pete was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He served his country as a Marine in the Korean War and survived the infamous Battle of Inchon.

A Mass in Pete’s honor will be held at St. Paul Church in Horseshoe Bay at 10 a.m. Jan. 25, which would have been his 83rd birthday.
