Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the American Legion and Am Vets.
Harold was a truck driver by occupation and a member of the 2 million mile club without any accidents. He was a member of the Arena of Peach Cowboy Church in Round Mountain, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and traveling.
Harold is survived by his wife of 61 years, Madonna (French) Potter of Granite Shoals; and daughters, Angela Ott of Katy, Patricia Mann of Stryker, Ohio, and Candice Navarro of Fort Wayne, Ind. Five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy, James and Thomas Potter; sister, Mary Tubbs; and nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life service is 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Arena of Peace Cowboy Church, 107 Lincoln Smith Road in Round Mountain. Pastor Frank Spillman and the Highland Lakes Honor Guard will officiate.
