Cherri Lynn Harris (nee Middlebrooks, Dreibelbis) peacefully passed on Nov 30, 2013, with her family by her side in McKinney, Texas.

A service is 11 a.m. Dec. 5 at First Baptist Church in Burnet.

Cherri had a long, accomplished career in the senior-care field, most recently serving as the community relations director at Elmcroft of Bartlett in Barlett, Tenn. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of countless senior citizens and their families.

She was most recently a resident of Cordova, Tenn., where she attended Bellvue Baptist Church. Prior residences included Winfield, Birmingham and Pell City, Ala.

Her father, Bill Middlebrooks, preceded her in death.

The love she felt for and inspired in those around her redefined the definition of family. She leaves behind many who knew and loved her and will celebrate and honor her life.

Cherri was an avid traveler and a nature lover. Please consider a donation to the National Parks Foundation in her memory at www.nationalparks.org in lieu of flowers.
