OBITUARY: Billy Ross Cook, 85, of Buchanan Dam dies Nov. 16, 2013
Billy Ross Cook, 85, formerly of Waco, passed away Nov. 16, 2013, in Llano.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. Nov.19 at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Nov. 18 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive in Waco.
Mr. Cook was born in Brownwood to Eccott Cook and Addie Roach Cook. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He lived in Waco, worked in the construction business and also operated a grocery store until moving to Buchanan Dam in 1993, where he married Tyna in May 15, 1994. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris; son Wesley King; six brothers and one sister.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife Tyna Cook; children, Kimberly Brunson and husband James, Stacy Simons, Judy Reasonover, Mike and Cliff McClendon; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
