OBITUARY: Betsy Darlene Pope, 45, of Austin dies July 7, 2013

Betsy Darlene Pope of Austin, Texas, born Jan. 31, 1968, passed away July 7, 2013 at her home. She was 45 years old.
She is survived by her parents, J.W. and Betty Lee Pope of Bertram and grandmother Jerry Pope of Georgetown. She is the mother of Ashton Pope of Austin and Tyler Smola of Massachusetts and grandmother to Romeo Hinds and Iana Andrade. She has eight siblings: Debbie Galliher of Liberty Hill, Lynn Nelson of Leander, Fran Sessler of Leander, Bill Nelson of Georgetown, Jamie Kitchens of Dallas, Jayleen Lloyd of Bertram, Jimmy Henderson of Orange Grove and Lorrie Nornberg of Corpus Christi. She also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Henderson, as well as grandparents Jack Pope, Esterleen Pope, Alvie Moore and Rosie May McGehee.
Betsy was a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, an aunt, a mother and a grandmother. She grew up in Leander. She graduated from Leander High School and continued to live in Austin. As a cosmetologist, she had a gift for always seeing what the client wanted and creating the perfect hairdo. Her love of fun and excitement led her to have wonderful life experiences and made her who she was.
Many, many wonderful memories will forever be in our hearts.
