OBITUARY: Michael E. McMahan, 62, of Granite Shoals dies July 7

Michael E. McMahan, 62, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away July 7, 2013. He was born to Gene and Betsy (Moore) Stephen on Nov. 11, 1950, in Big Springs, Texas.

Mr. McMahan was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his longtime significant other, Jennifer Hart of Granite Shoals; son, Roy Michael McMahan of Kingsland; grandson, Bishop K. Birdsong of Burnet; brother, Patrick M. McMahan of Texas; and nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal memorial service.
