OBITUARY: Robert ‘Bob’ Frank Cuthbertson, 84, of Kingsland dies June 17, 2013
Robert “Bob” Frank Cuthbertson, 84, of Kingsland, formerly of Llano, Texas, died June 17, 2013. He was born to John and Blanche Cuthbertson in Baytown, Texas, on March 26, 1929.
Bob proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. After his discharge, he was employed with DuPont for many years, retiring in 1985. He was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Llano, a life member of the VFW Post 912 of Baytown and a member of the American Legion in Llano.
Bob is survived by his wife of nine years, Tressie Cuthbertson of Kingsland; daughters, Ann Buchan of Baytown, Kacey Sammins of Kountze and Jean Chapman of Broaddus; son, Steve Cuthbertson of Baytown; dear friend Brandon Weaver; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service for Bob is 2 p.m. June 22 at First Christian Church, 1105 Oatman St. in Llano, with Pastor Gretel S. Morgan officiating. A memorial service is 2 p.m. June 29 at The Windchime, 216 Covenant Lane in Kingsland, with the Rev. Jeff Davis officiating.
