OBITUARY: Kimberly Kay Smarr, 49, of Llano dies June 16, 2013

Kimberly Kay Smarr passed away June 16, 2013, at the age of 49. She was born to Janice (Pearl) and Kenneth Smarr on June 5, 1964, in Menard, Texas.
Kimberly was a teacher for Llano Independent School District since 2000. She was president of the Association of Texas Professional Educators and was a 1991 graduate of Texas A&M University and a member of First Baptist Church in Llano.
Kimberly loved her children and adored her granddaughter, Nataley.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaitlin Hairston of Austin; sons, Kyle Smarr and wife JayAn of Austin and Kasey Hairston and Kaden Smarr, both of Llano; granddaughter, Nataley Smarr of Austin; parents, Jan and Kenneth Smarr of Crane; sister, Jeanne Turner and husband Ken Patton of Tow; brothers, Jerry Smarr and wife Marnita of Marble Falls and Kenny Smarr and wife Terrie of Tow.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. June 20 at First Baptist Church in Llano. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery. Officiating the service are the Revs. Rick Cundieff and Kenneth Smarr with Kasey Hairston delivering the eulogy and Kyle Smarr and Kaitlin Hairston giving a testimony.
Pallbearers are Wayne Little, Tim Hansen, Julian Erdmann, Troy Petty, Jared Rode and Max Milam.
