OBITUARY: Theodore ‘Ted’ Leslie Guerry Jr., 66, of Marble Falls dies May 5, 2013
Theodore “Ted” Leslie Guerry Jr., 66, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away May 5, 2013. Ted was born Nov. 27, 1946, to Martha Ann Carroll and Theodore Leslie Guerry in Leonard Town, Md.
Ted was a resident of Houston and an attorney and shareholder of Roberts Markel Guerry, P.C. until he retired from public practice in 2006. He served as in-house counsel for Layton Corp. until his death.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969.
Ted is survived by his wife, Cheryl; son, Michael Gattis and wife Sarah Gattis of Houston; stepson, Jay Corder and wife Daphne of Austin; brother, John Guerry of Houston; father, Theodore L. Guerry; and three grandchildren, Lillian Gattis, Jennifer Corder and Lauren Corder.
The family wishes to thank Cancer Care Centers of South Texas, Texas Oncology, MD Anderson Cancer Care Center, Seton Highland Lakes Hospice and Nurses, Unlimited for their treatment and care.
A memorial service is 3 p.m. May 14 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls.
