Nicole Andrea Columbus, 39, of Dallas, and formerly of San Angelo, passed away Feb. 23, 2013. She was born Aug. 17, 1973, in London, Ontario, Canada, to Barbara (Weaver) and Donald Columbus.

Nicole graduated from Central High School in San Angelo. She earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from Angelo State University. Nicole received a master’s degree in science, specializing in kinesiology, from the University of North Texas in Denton. She worked for Texas Instruments as their wellness program director. She then was employed as a drug representative with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Dallas.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara Columbus of San Angelo; father, Dr. Donald Columbus and wife Debby of Horseshoe Bay; brother, Benjamin Donald Columbus and wife Felicia of Austin; stepsisters, Rachel Johnson of Andrews and Mackenzie Tuckness of Junction; and stepbrother, Marcus Morriss of Dallas.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. March 1 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300, with family friend Dan Wilson and the Rev. James Sanderson officiating.
