Faith boys get big win in last game of regular season; bi-district up next
CEDAR PARK — The Faith Academy of Marble Falls boys basketball team scorched Cedar Park Summit 66-39 on Feb. 12 to finish the District 4-2A season of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools with a 6-4 record.
The Flames used their defense to get some easy buckets starting in the opening two minutes of the contest.
Faith head coach Randy Denton said his squad shot the ball very well, which led to the lopsided victory.
He was happy the Flames earned a .500 overall record for the season at 12-12.
“We hadn’t done that for a few years,” he said.
The Flames begin the postseason Feb. 18 or 19 in the bi-district championship at Rowlett Rockwall Christian Academy, the District 3-2A runner-up.
