Faith girls finish regular season with win; bi-district matchup is Feb. 19

BASTROP — The Faith Academy of Marble Falls girls basketball team completed its regular season with a 73-29 win against Bastrop Tribe Consolidated on Feb. 12.

This victory is the Lady Flames’ sixth in a row.

Faith built a 22-2 advantage after the first quarter. Reserves played the majority of the minutes in the second half.

The Lady Flames will begin the Class 2A playoffs of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools against the winner of the Greenville Christian and Tyler East Texas Christian contest. Both teams are 1-7 in District 3-2A. Results are expected Feb. 14.

As the district winner, the Lady Flames will host the bi-district game Feb. 19.
