CEDAR PARK — The Marble Falls High School boys soccer team lost 3-1 to Cedar Park on Feb. 12 in the second game of District 51-4A play.

The Mustangs were down 2-0 at the half. They scored a goal early in the second, but costly mistakes near the box allowed the Timberwolves to score a third goal.

“The fact of the matter is we outplayed them by quite a bit,” Marble Falls head coach Michael Nave said. “The kids played so hard.”

QUOTABLE: “In 15 games, they’ve worked as hard as they can through 14½ of them. There’s a consistency of effort. We have to get a consistency of performance,” Nave said.
