OBITUARY: Brenda Sutton, 58, of Tow loved NASCAR and riding horses

Brenda J. Sutton, 58, of Tow, Texas, passed away Jan. 21, 2013. She was born in Roswell, N.M., on Oct. 31, 1954, to Edna Jean (Morris) and Lloyd Wallace Bowen.
Brenda married Sydney Sutton in 1999 in Lake Tahoe, Nev. She loved NASCAR and enjoyed riding horses, traveling and fishing. She was a resident of Tow for the last four years, moving there from Bakersfield, Calif.
Survivors include her husband, Sydney Sutton of Tow; daughter, Lacey O’Neal and husband Marcus van der Lee of Tucson, Ariz.; sons, Zak Sutton of Riverside, Calif., and Kelby O’Neal and Caleb O’Neal, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers, Keith Bowen and Dean Bowen, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Travis Wayne Bowen.
A funeral service was Jan. 25 at Tow First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerald Moore officiating. Burial followed at Tow Cemetery.
