Faith boys lose first district game of season
MARBLE FALLS — The Faith Academy of Marble Falls boys basketball team suffered its first loss in District 4-2A of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools on Jan. 18.
It came against Waco Vanguard, 65-38.
“Our intensity and our go definitely wasn’t there for whatever reason,” Flames head coach Randy Denton said.
By the end of the first quarter, the Flames were down by 20 points.
Still, Denton said he believes one game doesn’t decide a district race.
“We’ll fix that,” he said. “That’s one game; we’ll bounce back.”
