Cen-Tex Crew girls softball team holding tryouts
MARBLE FALLS — The Cen-Tex Crew, a 12-and-under girls fastpitch softball team, is looking for solid players born in 2000, 2001 and 2002. All positions are open, officials said.
The team is comprised of athletes from Marble Falls, Burnet, Johnson City and Liberty Hill.
Tryouts for the spring season is 2-4 p.m. Jan. 20 at Scearce Softball Field, 2101 Mustang Drive at Marble Falls High School.
Players are asked to arrive early to fill out paperwork, stretch and warm-up. In the event of inclement weather, tryouts will be rescheduled.
The team competes in weekend tournaments during February, March, April and May at locations in Waco, Temple, Austin, Taylor, San Antonio, Round Rock and Seguin.
