Charles Lee Owens, 70, a lifetime resident of Llano, Texas, passed away Dec. 23, 2012. He was born May 9, 1942, to Quinnie Mae (Wimberly) and Leroy Owens in Llano.
He married Donna Tabor on April 4, 2003.
Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Owens of Llano; daughter, Tina Sue Arms and husband Michael; sons, James Owens and wife Tracy and Royce Owens and wife Brittany, all of Llano; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and two sisters.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Dec. 28 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A graveside service is 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Jerald Moore officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Wooten, Rod Decker, Pete Smith, Sonny Ross, Leslie Wayne, Stevie Mansell, Cooper Owens, Billy Dan Hackworth and Eddie Overstreet.
