LAGO VISTA — The Burnet High School girls basketball team scored 16 points in the final period to pull away from Lago Vista 41-29 on Dec. 7.

The Lady Dawgs suffered 12 turnovers compared to the 30 they had in the loss to Marble Falls on Dec. 4.

"Our turnovers were down against pressure, which allowed us to take more shots," Burnet head coach Mike Cavender said. "We made much better decisions with the ball in our hands."

TOP PLAYERS: Riley Scott 21 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 deflections; Sarah Poe 6 points, 12 rebounds and 1 block.
