Burnet, Faith heading for playoffs Friday
MARBLE FALLS — Two area high school football teams will start their quest for a state championship on Friday.
The Faith Flames (10-0, 5-0), the Division III District 4 champions, will welcome Houston Cypress Christian 7 p.m. at Pony Stadium, 1511 Pony Circle Drive in Marble Falls, with an area championship at stake.
Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for students.
Meanwhile, the Burnet High School football team will play Stephenville, the District 7-3A champion, 7:30 p.m. at Waco Independent School District Sports Complex, 1401 S. New Road in Waco.
The Bulldogs will be the home team. Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children and can be bought at Burnet High School, 1000 The Green Mile. Tickets bought at the gate are $7.
District University Interscholastic League passes, Texas High School Coaches Association passes and senior citizen passes will be honored.
