Flames coach looks to build on success of first 11-man season
MARBLE FALLS — When Faith Academy of Marble Falls officials announced the high school football team was moving to 11-man football from six-man this season, there was fear the Flames wouldn’t be relevant.
After all, most officials and fans had circled 2012 as the season Faith would play for a state championship in the smaller division.
But head coach Russ Roberts assured his players they would do well this year and would take much of what they did the best in six-man with them.
