Darlene Jackson, 18, of Burnet died Oct. 27, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Austin on May 9, 1994, and raised in Burnet.
She was a senior at Burnet High School and was set to graduate with the Class of 2013.
She worked part-time as a server at Crazy Gal’s Café in Burnet. She was saved to the Lord during her freshman year in high school.
The Bible verses in her room at home were Romans 10:9-10, Colossians 1:1-10 and John 3:3-5.
Survivors include parents Danny and Gail Widener; brothers Charlie and Garrett Jackson; sister Bobbie Jackson; grandparents Sam and Jesse Roden and Myrna Widener; niece Melanie Jackson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Texas 29 East in Burnet, (512) 756-2222.
A funeral service is 1 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Church at The Epicenter in Burnet with the Rev. Kyle Byrd officiating.
Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
Pallbearers include Frank Beltran, Emilio Perez, Andrew Roden, Jesse Roden, Jacob Terry, Charlie Jackson and Garrett Jackson.
