Some ‘unsung heroes’ don’t play on Friday nights

MARBLE FALLS — Fans are familiar with the names of the offensive and defensive starters on the Marble Falls High School football team.

But head coach Todd Dodge says for those starters to play well, they must go through a tough week of practices against Mustangs some fans might not know as well — seniors Chris Gudelman, Josh Moore, Sean Foote, Jason Floyd, Clint Crowder and juniors Austin Jones and Ty Coffey.

These players make up the “Attack Squad,” what Dodge calls the scout team, and they aren’t from the junior varsity either, he said.
