Cen-Tex Crew softball team second at Shootout
WIMBERLEY — The Cen-Tex Crew 12 and-under select softball team finished second in the recent September Shootout Invitational Fastpitch Tournament.

The Crew played eight games Sept. 30 to work its way through the loser’s bracket to the championship game, which it lost 8-6.
The team is comprised of players mainly from Burnet, Marble Falls, Johnson City and Liberty Hill.
The team will play a full slate of tournaments this fall including events in Taylor, Seguin, San Antonio, and Round Rock.
