Taylor hits late field goal to beat Burnet

TAYLOR — The Taylor Ducks scored on their final two drives of the game to stun the Burnet High School football team with a 9-7 win Sept. 28.

Taylor High School junior defensive back David Ancira intercepted a Bulldog pass on the Burnet 28.

Four plays later, senior quarterback Jeremy Snyder scored on a 16-yard run. The Ducks’ two-point pass failed with 7 minutes 31 seconds remaining in the game.
