Mary Ann Vann, 58, a lifelong resident of Llano, died Sept. 21, 2012. She was born on Dec. 30, 1953, to Lester Ray and Irene (Ellis) Nichols.
She was a waitress at the Burger Bar in Llano for many years and was a Baptist.
She married David Vann on June 26, 2004, in Llano.
She enjoyed playing poker, slots and many other games. She loved being around people.
In addition to her husband, survivors include daughter-in-law Rhonda Wisdom of Llano; sons Ronnie and Tim Wisdom, both of Llano; stepdaughter Heather Vann of Georgia; stepson Kenneth Bruce Matthews of Denton; sister Betty Lou Mabry of Houston; brothers Jerry Parton of Llano, Bobby Nichols of Houston and Leroy Nichols of San Antonio; grandchildren Tyler, Trenton, Savannah and Sierra Wisdom; step-granddaughter Sarah Jane of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sept. 24 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 10 a.m. Sept. 25 at the funeral home with Marvin Parton officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Llano City Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tim Wisdom, Alvin Woodall, Melvin Porter, Jay Sarmiento, Ronnie Wisdom and Tyler Wisdom.
