It’s tax and budget time again in the Highland Lakes

BURNET — It’s a rite of fall for local governments — setting tax rates.

And this year is no exception, as everything from schools to groundwater conservation districts approve their 2012-2013 fiscal year rates to fund budgets and keep the wheels of government turning.
