Elwanda Mae Haydon Frasier Chadwick, 87, died May 29, 2012. She was born in the pioneer town of Haynie Flat, located near the confluence of the Pedernales and Colorado rivers, on Feb. 23, 1925.
She attended Double Horn School and graduated from Austin Beauty School in 1940. She was the owner/operator of Wanda’s Beauty Shop in Marble Falls from 1942 to 1961.
She married Roy E. Frasier of Marble Falls in 1944.
Her life was filled by the grace of God. She was a lifelong angler and an avid crochet hobbyist.
Survivors include sons Kenneth Frasier of Danbury and Ronnie Frasier of the Double Horn community; daughter Janice Frasier of Cleburne; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands Clifford Chadwick and Roy E. Frasier.
