Bertram woman dies in collision with train
BERTRAM — A 59-year-old Bertram woman died June 9 after her car was involved in a collision with a train.
The accident occurred about 12:50 p.m. on CR 269, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Susan Schmidt died at the railroad crossing on 269, which is just north of Texas 29 and east of the city limits.
