Lady Mustangs stay in basketball shape with summer play
MARBLE FALLS — While the Marble Falls High School girls basketball program waits for a new head coach, the Lady Mustangs have taken it upon themselves to prepare for the 2012-2013 season.
The team played in a weekly league in Copperas Cove throughout May and participated in the Marble Falls Hill Country Tournament on May 26.
"They did want to play, and they did not want to wait until the summer," said Kim Stephens, the mother of incoming junior forward Hailey Stephens. "The girls expressed an interest. They wanted to keep playing and play together as a team."
