Leslie Yett

Leslie Yett, 92, of Blanco, and formerly of Marble Falls, died Feb. 19, 2012, at North Austin Medical Center in Austin. Born Nov. 17, 1919, in Marble Falls, he was the son of Marion and Ora (Shelby) Yett.

He served in the Army. He worked as a stone polisher at Texas Granite for 31 years and then worked at Blanco National Bank for 20 years.

He was a member of St. Frederick Baptist Church in Marble Falls and Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Blanco.

Survivors include his wife Isadora Yett of Blanco; sister Sylvia Hall of Marble Falls; and other relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Carrie; brothers Eugene, Bryant, Roy, Joe and Rufus; and his son Lester.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373.

A funeral service is 1 p.m. Feb. 25 at the funeral home chapel with the reverends David Dukes and George Perry officiating.

Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
