BASTROP — The Burnet High School girls basketball team’s 63-56 victory against Yoakum Feb. 17 came down to a series of runs, and it was only fitting.

After all, the Lady Dawgs (21-13) had to wait on a 365-day run for a rematch against the same Yoakum (30-4) team that ended their season a year ago.

Next up is Navarro in the Class 3A regional quarterfinals 7 p.m. Tuesday, tentatively scheduled at Lockhart High School, 906 Center St. in Lockhart.
