Burnet girls lose focus in last game of regular season, coach says

BURNET — The Burnet High School girls basketball team’s 54-51 loss to Salado Feb. 7 can be summed up quickly.

"We came out flat to start the game on both offense and defense," Lady Dawgs head coach Mike Cavender said.

"We had a lack of focus and a lack of energy came on the defensive end. You lack focus and intensity there, it’ll get you beat," he added.
