Free throws cost game for Mustangs
DRIPPING SPRINGS — The Marble Falls High School boys basketball team enjoyed its most productive quarter of the District 25-4A campaign, but that wasn’t enough against Dripping Springs.
Though the Mustangs (0-6) dropped in 26 points in the final period Jan. 20, the Tigers won 59-51.
The difference came down to free throws, Mustangs head coach Bruce Etheridge said.
Marble Falls was 8 of 17, while Dripping Springs was 22 of 28.
