Lady Flames get 61st consecutive district win
TEMPLE — A strong first quarter led to the 61st consecutive district win for the Faith Academy girls basketball team Jan. 18.
The Lady Flames (22-4, 5-0) scored 25 in the opening period to secure a 74-50 victory against Temply Holy Trinity.
"I think we played extremely well," Faith head coach Jerry English said. "The game got out of hand pretty quickly. I really was concerned we’d go over there and absolutely stink. That didn’t happen. Everyone on our squad got to play."
