LEANDER — The Marble Falls High School girls basketball team lost to Leander Vandegrift 37-17 Jan. 13.

The Lady Vipers took control of the contest in the third period when they outscored the Lady Mustangs (11-14, 2-4) 17-0.

“We were absolutely horrific,” head coach Stephanie Gamble said. “We were very sluggish. It was just bad.”

Marble Falls entered the contest looking to finish the first round of District 25-4A play in fourth place with a 3-3 record.
