Faith squads face tough competition at tournaments
MARBLE FALLS — When Faith Academy girls basketball coach Jerry English presented the Lady Flames Tournament schedule to referees, he was complimented on the level of competition.
"I really believe you have the premier teams of this area in private schools," he recalled hearing.
That will make for a competitive event with Faith (13-4) starting play 10 a.m. Dec. 29 against St. Michael’s and finishing the day with a 5:30 p.m. tipoff against St. Andrew’s.
The Lady Flames finish Dec. 30 against Boerne Geneva at 8 a.m. and St. Stephens at 3:30 p.m.
