Robert Leslie Stewart
Robert Leslie Stewart, 87, of Kingsland died Dec. 9, 2011. He was born to Samuel Leslie and Mary Porter Overton Stewart in Dallas on Aug. 12, 1924.
He was a college professor with a very creative mind. He etched glass, worked leather, carved totem poles and walking canes and made whirligigs.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls.
He married Margaret Emily Stewart Sept. 11, 1950.
In addition to his wife of 61 years, survivors include son Geoff and wife Tina Stewart, Bob and wife Muriel Stewart, all of Austin, and Andrew and wife Sara Stewart of Libertyville, Ill.; and grandchildren Jack and Rachael Stewart.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal at a later date.
