Hazel Elaine Long, 85, of Kingsland died Dec. 8, 2011. She was born Oct. 11, 1926, to Otho Holdren and Iva (Carey) Holdren in Salt Lake City. She lived in Kingsland for 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons Terry Hamm and wife Susan of Buchanan Dam and Stan Hamm and wife Jamie of Trout Creek, Mont.; daughter Luana Mae Overbey and husband David of Kingsland; daughter-in-law Gail Hamm of Lago Vista; niece Edna Robbins of Cave Junction, Ore.; nephew Norman Foster of Sandy, Utah; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Noel Ray Long on Sept. 27, 2009; son Roy Wesley Hamm; and sister Virginia Flair.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767.

A funeral service is 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at the Highland Lakes Baptist Church in Kingsland with the Rev. Ron Langley officiating.

Burial follows at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.

Pallbearers include Dave Overbey, Terry Hamm, Stan Hamm, Wade Hamm, Glenn Hamm and Andy Lee.
