MARBLE FALLS — For the fourth straight season, the Faith Academy football team will face Dallas The Covenant in the playoffs.

For the past three seasons, The Covenant (9-1, 4-0) has ended the Flames’ season.

So, what will Faith (6-4, 3-2) do differently this time?

Head coach Russ Roberts offered a blueprint of what he wants to see during the 2 p.m. Nov. 12 matchup at The Covenant Field, 7300 Valley View Lane in Dallas.

It came during the Flames’ 83-38 victory against San Antonio The Winston on Nov. 4.

The Flames won in every category — total offense, scoring drives and in fewer penalties.

Aside from that, Faith was able to win the turnover battle (plus-4), in the passing game (127 yards compared to 35) and in defense with seniors Seth McAnally (14) and Casey Clendennen (12) recording double-digit tackle totals.
