BURNET — Burnet High School celebrated Parents Night with a lopsided victory over rival Llano at Bulldog Field Friday.

While posting their first district win late in the season, the Bulldogs dominated from beginning to end as they beat the Yellow Jackets 49-0 during a chilly evening.

“It is kind of bittersweet,” Burnet head coach Doyle Walker said. “Both teams were bruised and banged up. Both teams fought hard.”
