MARBLE FALLS — The first of three straight home stints went well for the Faith Academy football team Oct. 14 thanks to a 57-12 victory against San Antonio Lutheran.

Now the Flames (4-3, 1-1) are looking to build on that momentum when they host Christian Academy of San Antonio 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at Pony Stadium on the Marble Falls Middle School campus, 1511 Pony Circle Drive.

“The team that wins this game will be almost assured of playoff berth,” head coach Russ Roberts said. “The team that loses will have a chance, but it’s going to be more difficult.”

Christian Academy enters the game after a 74-6 loss to defending state champion Bulverde Bracken.

But in many ways, looks can be deceiving, Roberts said.
